On 23 September the Australian Communications and Media Authority, will launch 'Tagged', a short film aimed at teenagers aged 14 years and over, dealing with the issues of cyberbullying, sexting and digital reputation management.  'Tagged' tells the story of a group of high school friends who post a rumour about a class mate which, in turn, sparks a chain reaction of increasingly risky online behaviour.

The film encourages young people to reflect on the risks and implications of cyberbullying, sexting and the importance of protecting their digital reputation. These are real concerns for young people which are increasingly penetrating every area of their lives, including their future adult lives, as their online world goes mobile.

This film is designed for classroom use and is accompanied by comprehensive lesson plans and classroom activities which help unpack many of the themes presented. There are also compelling 'hindsight' interviews with each character, allowing further exploration of the important themes covered in the film.

'Tagged' is the most recent addition to the ACMA's diverse suite of Cybersmart education resources for students, teachers and parents.
