Watch out for fake Telstra email

The following phishing information was published by Telstra 24x7 on July 12.



If you receive an email with the following text, or a variation please delete immediately and do not click on any embedded links. This is a known phishing attempt trying to steal your personal information.

Dear Customer,

our payment system was unable to process your last payment. Please verify & submit your correct billing information to avoid interruption of your BigPond Services.

Once you log in, you have to follow the steps to update & restore your account access. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure account safety.

To submit & updat your billing information, please CLICK HERE.

We thank you for your time. Please understand that this is a secure way to help protect you and your account. We apologise for any inconvenience.
