Did you know October is Cyber Security Awareness Month in Canada?
Much like our own Stay Smart Online, the Canadian Government also undertakes programs to encourage community cyber awareness and safety online. Called Get Cyber Safe, it offers a fantastic range of information and advice. Don't be afraid to check it out.

October is also Cyber Security Awareness Month in Canada and we'll gladly promote this cause wherever it might be!

Like Stay Smart Online, Canada's Get Cyber Safe website is a key part of its response to the mounting global challenges of cyber security. Its goal, much like our own, is to bring together all levels of government, the public and private sectors, and the international community, to help us be safer online.

In Australia, we have our own National Cyber Security Awareness Week in June. If you'd like to get involved or find out more visit: http://www.staysmartonline.gov.au/awareness_raising/awareness_week

Canada's Get Cyber Safe can be found at: http://www.getcybersafe.gc.ca/index-eng.aspx or you can follow its Twitter feed on @getcybersafe
